RAZOR T5

Like all other Giesemann products, the RAZOR T-5 module is exclusively manufactured in Germany and undergoes extensive quality control and electrical testing prior to delivery.

We only use premium-grade components. The electronic ballast gear for example is equipped with gentle start technology, which protects the lamp, and has a temperature controlled switch-off mechanism for overheated or defective T-5 lamps. The in-built electronic HF ballast devices also provider a flicker-free operation with immediate switch-on

Water-proof in accordance to IP 65

RAZOR is a light module developed for professional or private use. Wherever aquariums or terrariums need to be illuminated under difficult conditions, and need to be particularly splash proof, our light module RAZOR is the perfect solution.

The lighting casing consists of a silver anodized one-piece aluminum profile. This casing incorporates, in an extremely protected way, the entire electronics, including the electronic ballast gear. The premium-grade anodised surface provides optimum light reflection and is resistant even against aggressive salt-water. All sockets and sealing surfaces are also water-proof and equipped with additional neoprene sealing.

RAZOR T-5 modules are a cost-efficient way to create a lot of light on a small space. This is why the RAZOR light module is always equipped with innovative and powerful T-5 technology. These T-5 fluorescent tubes provide an up to 30% higher efficiency compared to other 26 mm tubes.

The special casing design creates an ideal operating environment for the exposed T-5 lamps, making for maximum durability and light yields

The RAZOR lighting system is delivered together with special high gloss reflectors, which almost double the light intensities of the fluorescent tubes. These reflectors can be adjusted to your preferred emission angle and allow for a homogeneous spatial illumination.

Standard or dimmable

All light modules are also available in a double T-5 version for external dimming. The dimmable light bars are equipped with a data cable (western connection 150 cm) or upon request with a five-pole cable and 5-pronged plug. All lighting systems are equipped with a 150 cm long power cord with a two-pronged earthed plug – special custom-made lengths are available upon request. The power cord always leaves the lamp profile on the side, in order to save as much space as possible in installation.
