High-performance special carbon for crystal-clear water in freshwater and marine aquariums.

The release of phosphate (PO4) from activated carbon with high POI (often > 1.4) often causes significant algae problems. In marine aquariums, calcium synthesis is also inhibited in calcareous red algae, stony corals and other calcifying organisms.

ROWA®carbon is therefore characterized by its outstandingly low POI of 1.3. The phosphate discharge is thus clearly below the detection limit of common measuring methods. ROWA®carbon binds harmful and disturbing organic waste products and thus improves the water quality in your aquarium.

ROWA®carbon is an exceptionally pure high-performance activated carbon, which meets even the highest demands and is subject to constant quality control. The starting product is exclusively high-quality hard coal. ROWA®carbon is excellently suitable for the removal of yellow substances and ozone. After drug treatment, it effectively removes unwanted remnants of drugs.
