This is my new favorite balanced white bulb. It is a really clean white with a touch of blue, and there is a definite increase in fluorescence of the corals when it is on. This bulb is different than the old DD-Giesemann aquablue+.

Did a 50/50 with this lamp and Powerchrome actinic-blue on my 8 lamp Matrixx fixture I have been using these bulbs for over 7 years. I get tons of growth on all of my corals.

Replaced two blue pluses with two of these, reminds me of aquablue special, touch of blue, bright- nice!! Sps are already responding better!!
